Northern Illinois University graduate students earned the second highest overall CPA exam passing rate in the United States of America with a passing rate of 90% in 2005. This is right behind Wake Forest University with a 90.9% rate.
Congratulations to all new CPAs. Look for the 2006 results to be posted sometime in the fourth quarter of 2007.
The National State Board of Accountancy (NASBA) will release the 2006 rankings in October of 2007.

"Self-Reported"
Pass Rate Statistics. Some review courses compute their pass rates based upon
self-reported statistics which highly inflate results. Those candidates who
do not pass often do not report their scores, while those who pass are quick
to report results.
